In order to thoroughly implement the "Opinions on Promoting the Inheritance and Innovative Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine" of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, to carry forward the essence of Taoist medicine and health culture, to better benefit the contemporary society, and to promote the inheritance and development of the cause of Taoist medicine, Taoist Medicine Branch of China Folk Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceutical Research and Development Association is scheduled to be held in Beijing on December 23rd -24th, 2023 "The 9th Chinese Taoist Medicine Academic Exchange Conference and the Council of Taoist Medicine Branch" in Beijing on December 23-24, 2023.

The conference was organized by the Taoist Medicine Branch of China Folk Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceutical Research and Development Association, co-organized by China Social and Cultural Development Foundation, Beijing (Central Land) Culture and Media Co.

The conference invites experts, presidents and directors of Taoist medicine branch, experts and scholars from scientific research institutes and colleges and universities, holders and inheritors of Taoist medicine technology, Chinese medicine hospitals, private medical institutions, traditional medicine and health care enthusiasts and other industry professionals to exchange Taoist medicine and Taoist health care concepts, and to display the characteristic Taoist medical diagnostic and treatment technology and Taoist medicine innovative products.

China Folk Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceutical Research and Development Association of Taoist Medicine Branch (referred to as "Taoist Medicine Branch"), subordinate to the China Folk Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceutical Research and Development Association of the second level branch. The Association was founded in Beijing on June 20, 1985, by the former Minister of Health Cui Yueli, the former Director of the Chinese Medicine Bureau of the Ministry of Health Lv Bingkui and other old leaders, reported to the State Council through the Ministry of Health, and was approved by the National System Reform Commission. The aim of the association is to unite Chinese medicine practitioners, maintain and carry forward the characteristics of Chinese medicine, enrich and develop Chinese medicine, promote academic exchanges between China and the world's medical community, and contribute to the health of mankind.
