On the morning of November 12, the "70 Years of Endeavor? Pursuing Dreams for a New Era" - Overseas Chinese Media Guangxi Tour" opened in Nanning, 68 Chinese and foreign Chinese media from 32 countries and regions in five continents participated in this activity.

     Deng Guozhong, member of the Ministry Council of the United Front Work Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee and spokesman, delivered a speech at the launching ceremony, in which he firstly expressed his appreciation to the senior management of the overseas Chinese media for coming to Guangxi to make field trips to report on the new development performance of Guangxi, and emphasized on the current situation of the development of emerging industries in Qinzhou and Fangchenggang, which will help to promote the future new strategy of "One Belt, One Road" and the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao as well as the ASEAN region. It is hoped that we will strengthen our cooperation with overseas Chinese media in the future. It is hoped that in the future, China Radio International will strengthen its media cooperation with overseas Chinese media, and promote joint development with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas communities in the field of economic, cultural and human resources in the future. Since last year, it has been cooperating closely with mainstream Chinese media in overseas countries, such as Red Maple Forest Media Group and One Belt One Road News Agency, inviting Chinese media to come into Guangxi to tell good stories about Guangxi.

     Gu Jianyun, Chairman of Canada Red Maple Forest Media Group and President of Belt and Road News Agency, particularly talked about the theme of letting overseas Chinese media make a loud voice in his speech at the launching ceremony, which is the earnest expectation of the United Front Work Department and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council for overseas Chinese media in recent years. In the era of great historical changes in the international situation that will not be encountered for a hundred years, the unique advantages of the Chinese language media will play a new role and act in the future to further assist the economic and cultural development of China's regions such as the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which cannot be played by other traditional media and new media. This year, the Belt and Road News Agency and Huasheng Morning Post have established the Integrated Media Cooperation and Exchange Center to jointly explore new ways and modes for the integrated development of Chinese and foreign media.

     Zhang Chunmei, special assistant to the chairman of the board of directors and executive president of the International Daily Newspaper, delivered a speech at the launching ceremony. She said, this is the sixth time to come to Guangxi, also witnessed the rapid development of Guangxi and the new changes day by day. Today, she was invited by the United Front Work Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Huasheng Morning Post to come to the beautiful Guangxi again, and she was very excited. She said that we Chinese media should not only tell a good story about China but also tell a good story about the world.
