The China Federation of Social Work and the Care for Children Organization have been working together since2003The project cooperation on long-term family foster care for orphaned and disabled children has been carried out for many years. Cumulatively, we have provided long-term foster care to more than 20,000 children from welfare institutions in China.5000The training was conducted on a number of occasions, covering the whole country.31The organization has provided tens of thousands of orphans with the opportunity to be cared for and warmed by their families again. China's Prof. Tong Xiaojun will discuss the history of China's family foster care system; Prof. Li Hui will talk about assessment and practice in early childhood development, and Prof. Zeng Fanlin, who has many years of frontline research practice, will discuss the long-term placement and social integration of family foster care for orphaned children in China. Du Yong, Director of the Ningxia Children's Welfare Institute, shared the practice of long-term placement of orphaned children in family foster care, taking the maximization of children's interests as the starting point.
