Dong Fan, an evaluation expert for the National Arts Fund under the Ministry of Culture, a National First-Class Actor at the Sichuan People’s Art Theatre, and a top-rated program host in Sichuan Province, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, Sun Zehui, Chairwoman of Ya’an Jinbu Cultural Development Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Corporate Culture Communication Co., Ltd.—both prominent enterprises in China’s (Sichuan) Belt and Road Initiative—briefed attendees on the companies’ recent development. He stated: "Our company’s main products focus on the preservation and inheritance of traditional craftsmanship, supported by modern technology. Our leather craft products integrate R&D, production, and sales into a single operation, and we operate independently. We are a leading enterprise in China’s genuine leather products sector." The company owns three proprietary brands: Jindoudou, Jindouya, and Jindoudou. It specializes in eco-friendly, green, and low-carbon, entirely handcrafted soft leather slippers, as well as innovative handcrafted woven and embroidered products. These products have become signature cultural tourism items in Sichuan Province, They have been recognized as premium products of the Sichuan Tibetan and Qiang Cultural Industry Corridor, distinctive products of the First Sichuan Urban Cultural Calling Card, and the first batch of outstanding cultural products in Ya’an City. In November 2014, the traditional craftsmanship of hand-made soft leather slippers was included by the Ya’an Municipal Government in the third batch of the Intangible Cultural Heritage List as a traditional craft. The company holds multiple national intellectual property protections and national patent authorizations. Sun Zehui, the company’s intangible cultural heritage inheritor, has been honored with the title of Sichuan Provincial Master of Folk Art (Handicrafts). The company’s handcrafted leather slippers and leather thread paintings enjoy a high reputation both domestically and internationally, having won numerous provincial and national gold, silver, and bronze awards.
